COUNTRY CLUB OF MOUNT DORA
The Country club of Mount Dora is located in the rolling hills of Lake County, just a short drive from Orlando, FL. This picturesque course set amidst a lush, Florida landscape was designed by Lloyd Clifton, ASGCA, of the Clifton & Ezell design team in 1991. Ponds and Lakes are the water hazards on 16 holes of this scenic course featuring narrow fairways lined with pine trees. The raised greens guarded by traps and water offer a challenging target for both an accomplished player and recreational golfer alike.
This typical Central Florida course features 6,571 yards of golf from the longest tees, with a par of 72 and a slope rating of 125. Green fees range from $55 on weekends to $25 for twilight hours and include golf cart. The course is cart accessible to member/residents.
Country Club of Mount Dora has something to offer every golfer, with a variety of groups available:
- Ladies 9-hole meets on Tuesday mornings - Ladies 18-hole meets on Thursday mornings - Couples 9-hole meet Wednesday and Thursday afternoons - Couples 18-hole meet on Sunday mornings.
Dress code is a collared shirt and bermuda shorts, no denim allowed.
Country Club of Mount Dora golf course is open year round, 7 days per week. The pro shop can accomodate players from 7AM until 6PM, with tee times reserved two weeks in advance for members, one week for non members.
Of course, no golf club is complete without a watering hole! Chef Dane Gillis presides over the restaurant and full service lounge. A warm, tropical decor welcomes diners with plush cushioned rattan chairs and plantation shutters.
Lunch is served daily from 11:00 to 3:00, breakfast on Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM. With full banquet facilities available, the Club has hosted many a special occasion from Weddings to luncheons. Download Mount Dora Country Club Site Plan Chatham
